Belgium is boring.
So some people say. Somewhere to pass through as quickly as possible whilst on your way somewhere else. Or so the cliche goes.
If you’re visiting Europe, it’s quite likely you’re planning a trip through Belgium at some stage.
I’ve written a quick whistle-stop tour of the main sights of Brussels for visitors and newcomers to the city.
Brussels is thin on conventional tourist sights.
The real charm of Brussels is found more in it’s different districts, and in the atmospheric hidden small squares and side streets of it’s neighbourhood areas.
Once again there’s been a major gas explosion in Belgium, destroying four buildings. This one occurred in Schaerbeek in the north east of Brussels. At least three people have lost their lives in the explosion with seventeen injured.
